Update from Spain
The Race on Sunday the 14 th was a spectacular affair, if you can picture 132,00 racing fans, about2/3 rds cheering for the home town favourite Alonso, and he delivered, easily winning. My seat was excellent, the cars passing me at about 300kph and braking and down shifting 6 gears to make the corner.
Some observations
I wish the guy that stole my jeans had left my belt and Ray Bans, I was going to throw the jeans out anyway.
Had my first experience in a public washroom, no seat or paper, I was prepared.
Went to barber shop and had my head shaved, sure is cool and quick after showering.
The sde walk vendors are all around the harbour hawking their wares, they are very, very dark guys and are sekking illegally. It is a sight when the law arrives, they have a rope on all four corners of their blankets and can pick up and be gone in a flash.
It worries me that all the signs are in Spanish, except stop signs?
